I have started a master's program in data science and would really benefit from some tutoring to get at least the foundations down. I am going to be learning python, sql, r, as well as some numpy , pandas, matplotlib and git/github. I am just going into the second week of my first 7 week 'semester' and am feeling a bit lost as none of the resources are really explaining the very basics at all and trying to find information online can be a bit of a shot in the dark on how current and applicable it is.

I am an entry level data analyst at a mortgage lender in Fort Washington. I am very behind with fundamental questions and feel I should be picking things up more quickly than I have been at work. I've been at the job for 8 months now and never understand what to join tables on when it's not a simple loanID or employeeID. Joining on Dates, "Events", ProductTypes, LeadTypes just has not clicked with me. This is one of many different fundamental things I am having trouble reading as quickly as my coworkers.
