She had taken private cello lessons since age 6 and we wondered if there was a similar type of thing for those who wanted to develop skills in art. A search on Google brought me to Wyzant and subsequently to Frances S.'s profile. After a few emails back and forth, things looked really promising. Frances seemed to have all the skills we were looking for in a tutor so we made an appointment for a lesson. R met with Frances for a two hour session and connected with her immediately.

One challenge is the different skill levels between Robbie and Mark. For example, should you have conversation alone with Mark for ten minutes while Robbie works alone on something else? Also, we have realistic expectations, since their lesson is only 2 hours per week, plus they are also working hard with "American School," soccer, cello, piano, Chinese, etc! See you this Saturday, 3-5PM. Sincerely,
Robert and Yukari

Erica helped my 13 year old son who was not very excited or motivated about practicing cello at home alone with no direction. With school being out and me being a nurse manager who's demanded at work, we are struggling for sure. But after Erica's first lesson with Austin, he kept practicing for 2 more hours, and I could see his confidence instantly build.
