I was unable to find an art academy that fits my working schedule in New York… So I started my lessons with Ms. Frances… I used to think that I’ll be getting a better learning experience when I attend an academy coz I’ll be meeting different tutors and different students and learn from them… but after I started my lessons with her I discovered that I was wrong!! she gave me more information and learning techniques than what I’ve learned in the academy that I was attending!!
I asked Ryan to help my son with those skills and I cannot be more happy. Dennis loved his lessons with Ryan. He told me that Ryan is the best art teacher he ever had. That his tips are helping him tremendously and fast and more helpful than any art teacher ever gave him. I withdrew my kids from the art school and now they are learning art with Ryan.
For our first lesson Shay was able to connect with our son and show him a perspective about art as related to geometric forms. I'm sure if he had a different interest she would have related that to art instead. I had friends who attended art class at FIT and Parson's in NYC and his first lesson seemed equivalent to what you would get there, only personalized. Her teaching style seems to blend how to think about art, technique, and the personality of the student.
