I was able to test out of college algebra after teaching myself algebra and geometry at home, and in college, I completed calculus 1,2, and 3.
I have experience teaching math to my three little brothers from elementary to middle school. My method of tutoring math centers around teaching a student to visualize each concept. I have found that students are most successful when they can break down complex equations into simple concepts that relate to the real world; this is what I mean by visualizing the concepts.
I also have experience in teaching fine arts to middle and high school students. I co-taught at a private studio in Texas as well as an art summer camp at a private school. I have experience in pencil, acrylic, and oil paint mediums.
