I am looking for a Russian tutor who is available to teach on Saturdays.

I have studied Russian for several years and am an intermediate level student. Much of the time, we live in Kazakhstan but when I am here, I find my language skills diminish. I need someone to have conversation with and someone who will help me correct essays that I write for my continually on-going class.

I would like to learn Russian. I live in northeast Philadelphia 10 miles from downtown. I am very serious about learning Russian and am interested in taking lessons once a week on Saturday or Sundays.

I am traveling to Moscow and St. Petersburg the last week of March. I recently returned from a trip to South America and found my inability to communicate in Spanish very frustrating. When I did know enough Spanish to communicate, not only was it a rewarding feeling because of the challenge, but I felt a difference in the attitude of who I was communicating with. I want to learn as much Russian as possible between now and March 30th. (probably more after I get there!). I live in Leesburg and work in Reston and can make time during lunch, after work, or on the weekends.

I served in Ukraine as a Peace Corps volunteer from 2003 to 2006. I am considering traveling to Ukraine this summer. I have listened to Pimsleur Russian CDs (now on lesson 35) and going through a textbook called Russian Language for Beginners (Ruskie Yazik dlya Nachinayushik). I'd like to try one lesson.

I’m 22 and for a little while now I’ve been looking for a tutor to teach me Russian! I don’t know a single word but I am very eager to learn! I’m thinking once or twice a week for now would do!
