I've been studying Japanese on my own the last few weeks, mostly through Nihondex. My hiragana and katakana are solid, and I am making good progress with vocabulary and kanji, but I'm finding the grammar quite difficult to study on my own. My goal is to pass the N5 in December, and am seeking a tutor that can really challenge me.

My 11 year old son is very interested in learning Japanese over the Summer. He did some private Japanese tutoring in the past, but he is a beginner. We live in Darien.

My father David retired recently and he and my mom are taking a trip to Japan later this year. He is so excited for the trip that he is starting to learn Japanese and I believe he is making good progress.
I want to surprise him with the gift of a live Japanese tutor. He lives in West L.A. near Century City. Would you be interested in a potential new client?
Arigato Gozaimasu!

I want to prepare for the JLPT. I also wanted to learn and practice business Japanese. Especially things like the interview process, how to properly address emails, and various greetings and farewells.

I'm going to Japan in June and was hoping for a few in person sessions for basic travel Japanese. I'm in San Mateo and seeking a tutor.

I live in New York and am currently looking for a Japanese tutor for my 14-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son. Until now, we have been using the online tutoring service "Try" to help them maintain their Japanese proficiency. Fundamentally, rather than simply teaching the mechanics of the language, I would prefer the tutor to use Japanese as the medium to teach other subjects or to facilitate conversation-based lessons; ideally, I would like the tutor to conduct the entire session—including all explanations—exclusively in Japanese. Our previous sessions typically involved the tutor assigning weekly homework materials—such as short YouTube videos on topics of interest to the children—which they would then discuss during the lesson. We also received written assignments (worksheets/papers) to complete as homework, which were subsequently reviewed and corrected during the following session. Please let me know if this approach to the lesson content seems feasible
