Reading Student in Rockford, IL 61107 15.2 mi

My daughter is entering third grade this fall and has an unusual profile: her verbal skills and vocabulary are well beyond her peers, and she's strong in math, but she's behind in reading — decoding specifically.

I'm looking for someone who can do structured, phonics-based work on decoding while keeping her engaged at the level her mind actually operates — and rebuild her confidence in the process. I'd rather not have her in a program that treats her as behind across the board, because she isn't.
