asked 06/20/25want to ask a tutor more questions
I have more questions for one of the tutors. Since my mother-in-law is paying for these sessions, there are some follow-up questions. Once I went to the messages, it wouldn't let me send a message back. It just takes me to payment.

Hi Steven,
Wyzant's messaging system only allows a limited number of free messages before and after a lesson. Once that limit is reached or the session has been completed, the platform will prompt you to schedule and pay for another lesson before you can send additional detailed questions.
If you just have quick clarifying questions, this "Ask an Expert" forum is a good place to get general guidance. But if you need more one-on-one help from your tutor you will need to book another hour through your mother‑in‑law's account so that the tutor is compensated for their time.
If you're unable to send messages at all, even when you should be able to, you can contact Wyzant's support team directly ([email protected] or via the contact form on the site) and they can look into any account-specific issues.
Hope this helps!
