Can you share your study plan for passing the NCLEX?

NCLEX Coach. The students I have tutored for the NCLEX test have all studied their weak areas based on how they scored on the NCLEX and their ATI predictor examination. This test is included as part of our last class curriculum. Many universities and colleges use it for the "Green Light" to test. I encourage students to practice questions on the higher level of learning like application, synthesis and analysis. It is not about rote memorization. This is what I explain to my freshman students the first day we meet and I emphasize this with them every week at clinical. Study materials given in nursing school and practice test questions from your ATI or another provider available online such as UWorld, BoardVitals or Kaplan. GOOD LUCK! You got this!!

Hello! Thank you for contacting me about my study plan. As you know, everyone has unique learning styles, so I collaborate with you to create a consistent and achievable plan tailored to either pass the NGN NCLEX or succeed in a nursing course. I am a nursing professor with experience tutoring across the United States.
My tips:
1. Develop a study schedule.
2.Study the subject that intimidates you the most FIRST! Get it off your mind. Conquer it.
3.Take advantage of any "read" you study notes. Reading your notes as if it were an article. No pressure reach for understanding.
4. Practice, practice, practice tests.

Experience at test prep, testing strategies
First off find out what type of test taker you are. What style of studying helps you retain? When looking at NCLEX questions you want to do several things
- practice
- identify the problem
- go slow and investigate the words in the problem
- eliminate wrong answers
- ensure the answer matches the topic
