Tough question - to me it sounds a bit more Spanish in pronunciation but grammar is closer to Portuguese..
Is Galician grammar closer to Portuguese or Spanish?

Well, I’ve lived in La Coruña for two years and being Brazilian helped me a lot learning “gallego”. It is pretty much a mixed of both languages, however I would say it is 65% closer to Portuguese (from Portugal).
