In Portuguese, is it accurate to say that the name of a fruit-bearing tree always has the same gender of the fruit, e.g., o abacateiro, o limoeiro, a bananeira, a mangueira?

There are a few exceptions. "Figo" is of masculine gender whereas its tree is called "figueira," in the feminine.
