I depends on where you are looking to settle, where your other family members are, what is your ultimate goal.
First make sure you visit the country where you would like to settle down.
In general dental careers require re-education for atleast 2 years in USA.
Admissions to these accelerated 2 year programs are competitive.
Having a good GPA (after transcript evaluation from ECE or WES) helps.
Expect to spend additional 3 to 4 years minimum before you can get working as a dentist in the USA.
The pay scale is very different from that of dentists in India.
Even if you were to settle down in the USA, your standard of living will be very high compared to a dentist who is practicing locally with a BDS.
