Composition for Clarinet?

I would like to write a song for a Bb clarinet. What is the easiest key for a clarinet player to play it in? Do I use the Treble clef register?

Hello, the Bb soprano clarinet reads in the treble clef. Although many keys are very manageable for the clarinet, many would likely agree that concert Bb major (C major for clarinets) may be the easiest simply because it doesn't have any sharps or flats. Other easy keys are concert Eb major (F major for clarinets), concert F major (G major for clarinets), and their minor equivalents (concert G minor, C minor, and D minor).

You would use the Treble Clef The Clarinet is in Bb and concert pitch is C

In other words a C would be a D on the Clarinet
