No, you are wrong! You have to knowledgable of the anatomy, facial structure, the nerves, muscles in the face , etc. You have to know what to do if the person you are working on has a reaction to the product that you are using. You need to know about the respiratory, and circulatory system.
You can work at the back bar and get familiarized with the clientele. That way they can become accustomed to your touch.
