Do people from Portugal often use Brazilian Portuguese versions of software and/or websites, and if so, does this ever cause confusion due to differences in grammar, orthography and vocabulary?
The orthography of Portuguese used in Portugal and Brazil is basically the same. But of course there are some local expressions that are different. Example watching Netflix movie with subtitle in Portuguese we can notice if some expressions are from Portugal or from Brazil .
