Do you recommend learning European Portuguese?

I recommend learning Brazilian Portuguese. Brazilian Portuguese is spoken more widely due to the population of Brazil itself and the number of Brazilian living abroad, especially in North America. The accent itself is easier to learn in my opinion given the syllabic pronunciation.
