I would not recommend waxing a beard, because the hair is so coarse that it could cause infection of the waxed area. If it's finer soft baby hair, use a sensitive wax made for the face, and wax as you would a regular waxing, pulling the skin taunt in the the area being worked on. Immediately put your hand over the waxed area to help sooth the pain. Do not do any treatments prior to or after the waxing. Wait 2 weeks to do any facial services. Apply a cold compress or rag, followed up by a skin soothing topical solution. My option would be to have them check out laser removal if the hair is thicker than soft vellus hair on the face.
