It is not wrong to have a Spanish thing being called Iberian, just like if they were saying European. Having a traditional paella and calling it an European dish is correct all the same as saying it is an Iberian dish or Spanish dish. Iberian regions share more similarities than other regions that are grouped together, and I have never seen a grudge of one country towards the other when using the peninsula name as identification.
