Brazil and Portugal have some reciprocity laws, that means there are situations where Portuguese are treated as Brazilians and Brazilians are treated as Portuguese, but even in those situations they are just treated as, they are not actually considered as belonging to the other's nationality. Therefore, unless the kid has gone through a naturalization process, no they will not be considered Portuguese.
