Hi! There are actually two steps that you have to complete in order to register for the NCLEX. First, you need to apply for licensure/registration to your states' Nursing Regulatory Body (NRB). This step allows you to become eligible to sit for the NCLEX. Then, you need to register and pay for the NCLEX with Pearson VUE either via online or telephone. Think of Pearson VUE as the proctors of the NCLEX. Once you are deemed eligible and received your Authorization to Test (ATT), you may schedule your NCLEX with Pearson VUE.
