NY State Practical Exam advice? Failed before.

Hi there, I'm transferring from a Texas license to a New York license and have to retake the practical. I tried and failed the first time so I'm just looking for someone that I could ask a few questions just to clarify that I'm doing the tasks right. I've reached out to Empire Beauty School but if anyone has any suggestions I would be super grateful for some tips. Mainly about the protective base for the relaxer and how to section the haircut. As well as the ridge curls.

I would review your chapters in your textbook. I would also look into any online or virtual classes that can help you understand the practical end of your questions.

In terms of relaxers, review your chemistry chapter in your textbook, then texture services... You should find what you need.

For haircutting, all sectioning depends on the cut you want to perform. Is it a Bob,shag, wedge, or pixie? Review the cutting chapter and how to section based on the cut.
