What is the best job for a licensed practical nurse?

In my professional opinion, any job where you can gain experience is the best job. However, if you plan on continuing on in your education to obtain your RN then I would stay strive to get a position in an acute care setting.

1. Hospital
2. Long Term Acute Care Hospital a.k.a. LTACH
3. Rehab facility if there is not an inpatient rehab floor in the hospital
4. Skilled Nursing Facility a.k.a. SNF
5. Home Health or Nursing Home
