If you're interested in selling your music the first step would do is register with either The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers "ASCAP" or Broadcast Music Inc. "BMI" and explore each of their services to suit your needs best. If you want to sell your music like a beat to multiple artists, you want to register it as non-exclusive. Meaning that the track can be licensed and used commercially by multiple artists. If you have a specific artist that is looking to use the track, you will register it under exclusive licensing, however this is different than selling the ownership of the IP. Just make sure you have the rights to everything used in the song. If you sampled anything you have to license the song that you used. A great website for tracks that are possible to license for a set fee is tracklib.com. Hope this answer helps!
