Then the price of the cone itself is $1.10. The ice cream is $1.00 more, which would make the cost of the ice cream = 1.10 + 1.00 = $2.10.
 
Total cost of the ice cream and cone = $1.10 + $2.10 = $3.20.
 
The wording of the question is confusing the way it's written. I hope the answer now is correct. *lol*
