A cylindrical container has a diameter of 40cm and a height of 120cm. What is the maximum volume the container can hold?

please can u solve this question.

Does it not matter tht it says ’maximum volume’ I thought maximum volume in a cylinder meant tht height has to be equal to 2r or d(diameter).

The height is independent of the diameter.  In this problem, maximum volume just means the entire volume of the cylinder, which is calculated using the formula I gave.
