If we change the sign of one positive integer, we now have subtraction.
a + b = -23
a + (-b) = -3 -----> a - b = -3
Adding the two together...
2a = -26
a = -13
-13 + b = -23
b = -10
So, the two integers are -10 and -13, and -10 would change signs.
-13 + (-10) = -23
-13 + 10 = -3
