This appears to be an exercise in interpreting data from the periodic table. For example, look at carbon, C.
Atomic number = 6
That means 6 protons, 6 electrons, and several neutrons, usually 6, although there are isotopes of C that have more neutrons.
For the electronic configuration, start filling from the lowerst shell outward, until you have 6 electrons:
1s22s22p2
