Physics- Work

A car goes at a constant 16 m/s up a hill. the frictional force is 500N. The height of the hill is .3 km and it the car travels a distance of 4.8 km. What is the work done in order to get to the top of the hill.

I think I understand it now I just do mgh and add the frictional force to find the work. Right?
so (.3)(9.8)(1000) + 500, correct.

Oh yeah but first convert the km to m so ((300)(9.8)(1000))+500

No.  See my answer, based on my interpretation of the given information.  I calculated the total work done against both gravity and friction.
