x + 35% = 100 find x

Of course I can do trial and error to get the x, but I need a formula for spreadsheet that could get x with the given. 
Any help is appreciated. Thank you

x = 99.65

Ive got the answer.
 
Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.
x+x(0.35)=100
x+0.35x=100
(x+0.35x)=100   #Combine Like Terms
1.35x=100

Step 2: Divide both sides by 1.35.
1.35x/1.35=100/1.35
x=74.074074
