After solving I got 7.33 and when I check the correct asnwer was 8? which is the best answer to this problem 7 or 8? Thank you.

Good job! 7.33 is the right answer.

If  you choose 7 cans, you are 1/3 of a can short of filling the cylinder.

If you choose 8 as the answer, you have 2/3 of a can too much.

I guess, it's your choice. I would pick 8, since you will be able to completely fill the cylinder. You can always drink the extra. :)
