This may be a "gotcha" question that appears from time to time, where the student really meant "2 + 2 = ?", but in SOME NUMBER SYSTEM OTHER THAN THE DECIMAL SYSTEM.  The student would deliberately omit mention of the number system from the problem statement.  Assuming the decimal system, the tutor answers "2 + 2 = 4", and then the student posts a Comment attempting to ridicule the tutor for "incorrectly" answering the question.  I have seen this several times.  Unfortunately, we may continue to see this misuse of the Answer page.
