1) a - If it is absorbing the light waves but reflect blue, then you will see blue. The object is absorbing most of the light so it isn't transparent. Since it isn't transparent, it is opaque. The absorbed light are turned into thermal energy, which warms up the object.
2) a - If the object is absorbing most of the light waves, then it will be opaque. Black is dark because it absorbs all the light and therefore does not reflect or transmit light, which is why it's black. White reflects or transmits all light waves so it's white. Something that absorbs all the light onto it is called a 'Blackbody'. Such things as a Star is a blackbody. Some stars are blue because their transmission of light is peaked at blue. Our sun is yellow because although it contains all wavelength, it peaks at yellow. However, the photon that arrives on Earth is white, because it contains almost all colors of the visible spectrum. You can see this from the sun's spectroscopy (breaking up light into different parts).
Something that is transparent and appears blue would be a transparent glass with a blue tint or something. It allows all other light to go through the glass except for blue which is reflected back.

For B,
Ok Let me clarity the answer as I had thought it was about blackbody and other objects.
If we're talking about glass, lets say, then the answer would depend on the angle you are viewing from.
If you have the light behind the glass, since it is absorbing all the wavelength other than blue, then you wouldn't see any of the color. Since it is transmitting blue which means it is allowing blue to go through, then the glass would look transparent
with blue.
However, if you have the light behind you and looking at the object, the object would absorb all light so you wouldn't see any of the colors. Now, it is transmitting blue which means none of the blue is being reflected back as well. Therefore, you wouldn't
see any color, which means it will be opaque and black.
Therefore, since the color would depend on the angle of the viewing, I would say the answer is D: None of the above.
