The Edges of a cube are each 14 inches long . What is the ratio of the number of square inches in the total surface area of the cube to the number of cubic inches in its volume?

V = L³ = (14 in)³ = 2744 in³

 

A = 6L² = 6(14 in)² = 1176 in²

 

A / V = (1176 in²) / (2744 in³) ≅ 0.429 in^-1
