Hi Carly,
I haven't read the book so I can't help you with specific details but maybe I can point you in the right direction. Resilience is "the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties" so we very often use this word to talk about people/characters who face challenges but don't let those challenges beat them down, one way or another they show determination and keep pushing through even though it was tough. If you can think of a character or situation like that from the book then you've got your example. We also use resiliency sometimes to talk about how things recover from damage. Was anyone in the book able to recover better or differently from a physical ailment or surgery? If so, that could be another example.
Hope I was able to help at least a little! Good luck!
Lauren
