i am trying to figure out how to build an x/y table of values with this equation

Question

once problem is in slope intercept format how do I build a table?

 

-3x + 2Y = 1   

 

2y = 3x + 1   =  2y/2 = 3x/2 + 1/2 

                      

                         y= 3/2x + 1/2                                x =  , 2, and -2,  y= 7/2 and -7/2

 

 

(2, 7/2)  (2, -7/2)   is this the correct method to build a table?

y=3/2x+1/2

 

when x=2 , y=7/2

 

but when x=-2

 

y=3/2(-2)+1/2

 

  =-3+1/2

 

  =-6/2+1/2

 

  =-5/2

 

similarly you can take other values for x and solve for y
