Implicit differentiation

this one has me got me confused.

 

find dy/dx at the point (0, -1), if y⁷=(x²-1)³+4e^xtan^-1y+pi

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer 1

Derive both sides of the equation using the chain rule.  When doing so, you will solve for y'.

 

Then, evaluate y' when x=0 and y=-1.
