When dealing with money and fractions it is always best to have the answers in money form (or in decimal form). So to find out how much 1/4 is in money we have to divide 4 into 100 (equal to one dollar OR 1.00) to get (.25) which is equal to 1/4 of a whole (or 100).
Here is a great tip for math ("of" means to multiple): so the next step is to multiple $96.00 by .25 cents and then take that total (?)and subtract it from the original price, which is the sale price of the suit.
96.00 X .25= ?
96.00 - ? = "sale price of suit"
