Hello Meeka,
Here is the solution to the question:
Given that purchased meat = 150 pounds,
The meat used for lunch:
= 28 + 1.5% * purchased meat
= 28 + (1.5/100)*150
= 28 + 2.25
= 30.25 pounds
The meat left for dinner:
= Purchased meat - meat used for lunch
= 150 - 30.25
= 119.75 pounds
Hope this answers to your question.
You can get back to me for any doubts.
Thanks!
