How to graph a line?

How to you graph a line which passes through the point (5, 2/3)

Alexandra H.

In order to graph a specific line, you either need two points, or a point and a  slope.  Is there more to this question?

Walker,

Lots of line go through the point (5, 2/3).  Looking at a coordinate plane at the point x=5, y=2/3.   Just place a straight edge over that point and draw a line, rotate the straight edge and draw another different line and so on.
Maybe the problem has a y intercept of 5 and a slope of 2/3???  Not THAT we can graph....

Let us know,
good luck,
Kim
