Hello, and thank you for visiting my page!

Helping students excel in science, whether it's undergraduate courses, AP Bio, AP Chem, or any of the biological/chemical sciences for grades 6-12, is a personal passion of mine. I hold a bachelor's degree in microbiology with a minor in biochemistry, and currently work as a chemical quality control analyst in the pharmaceutical industry. My goal is to pursue a PhD in pharmacology. Thus, I bring both academic and real-world experience to my tutoring sessions, which allows me to bring abstract concepts to life for better understanding and retention.

Science does not have to be overwhelming! Over the past three years, I have helped many students build a solid foundation in various disciplines, which led to improved study habits, better grades and test performance, and greater self-confidence. While working as a teaching assistant in college for biochemistry and infectious diseases, I learned how to break down complex topics into digestible, engaging lessons. My approach is student-centered, results-driven, and tailored to meet your personal goals. I will help you every step of the way!

Feel free to contact me to set up your first session. I look forward to hearing from you!

ACT Science

ACT Science

With a BS in Microbiology and Biochemistry, along with 3+ years of tutoring in science, I have the scientific knowledge and test-taking strategies needed to be an excellent Science ACT tutor. I understand that the ACT Science section is designed to test the ability to analyze data quickly, interpret graphs, and navigate dense, information-heavy passages under pressure, which can be quite intimidating for many students. My goal is to ensure that each student feels confident in their test-taking abilities, despite the test's time constraints, complicated questions, and lengthy paragraphs. These questions all require a strategic approach, which I effectively navigate with students during our sessions to tackle these challenges.
