My name is Samantha Adams and I am a certified teacher that works with dyslexia students in online public school. Let me tell you a little more about myself.Before becoming a dyslexia teacher, I taught second grade ELAR teacher in LCISD. I also worked as a lower elementary (1st-3rd) Montessori teacher in HISD. I have also worked in 1st grade as well. As an educator, I used a variety of different strategies and creativity to reach my students. As a result, I took my second-grade class from 34% on grade level reading score to 61% on reading level or above by December. They were also able to increase their reading exam scores by 30%.
My certification is EC-6 Generalist, and I am ESL certified as well. I have also completed the Reading Academies. I am certified in Special Education EC-12. I am also currently enrolled and currently completing the practicum phase of Neuhaus to certify in dyslexia. I would love the opportunity to work with your kiddo.
