Hello! I am excited about the possibility of being a tutor for you as I am a lifelong learner with a real passion for helping people. My undergraduate degrees are from the University of Missouri where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's degree in Finance. I spent 4 years after college working at an international public accounting firm focusing on financial and tax accounting. I then decided to return to school and get my MBA from Duke University where I focused my studies on Marketing and Finance. While I was at Duke I served as a Teaching Assistant and tutor for the following classes: Marketing Analytics, Corporate Finance, Statistics and Brand Management. I really enjoyed my time as a TA as I was able to connect with and help students understand topics I was passionate about.

Since getting my MBA I have spent over 20 years in Marketing marrying both my creative side with my love of numbers working in Brand Management for both Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial companies. I have touched almost all parts of the business world and love sharing my knowledge with others. Recently, I have been given the opportunity to guest lecture at the University of Texas business school a few times and I have really enjoyed connecting with students and sharing my experiences and knowledge.

Currently I am tutoring both college level and graduate (MBA) students in Marketing and Finance and would love to add more students. I believe that all students learn differently and, as such, I adapt my tutoring methods to what works best with the student’s particular needs, whether that be reviewing in class material, finding additional problems to work on, setting up case studies or just doing homework together.
