I am fully aware of the different approaches to teaching courses in AP Calculus or AP Physics for students who learn differently and assimilate material at different rates. "Eureka Moments" do exist and I know how to evoke that sought- after response in my students.

He sends helpful information and resources, and he’ll do research to make sure he can best answer your questions. He’s really caring, nice, and knowledgeable about the subject. I was lucky to find William when I was feeling really lost and confused with both Calc III and Physics II near the end of a semester. William jumped into tutoring me with patience and a plan to help me successfully finish the semester with passing grades and a great understanding of the material. I appreciate William's ability to dissect complex topics into simple steps that I can grasp. His teaching style allows me to feel calm and capable. William goes out of his way to support my learning needs. Fun, Engaging, and Knowledgeable
I started attending lessons with William at the beginning of 2025 to help me prepare for college. As a non-traditional student, there are a lot of gaps in my knowledge, especially concerning mathematics. Will has helped me fill those gaps and more. I directly attribute his help to passing my pre-calculus class and preparing for future classes. He’s relaxed, easy going, and fun to chat with which helps break up some of the monotony that can come with learning. He fosters an environment that makes learning fun and engaging. My child has not taken physics in HS, so the physics in college was a huge challenge. Fish out of water… William is patient and knowledgeable. He explained complex concepts in a way that made it easier to understand. Thanks to William my child felt more confident and we saw real improvement in their grades. Excellent tutor
William has provided two tutoring sessions for my 16 year old daughter who has been challenged early on in Honors Algebra 2. In the first session, after introductions, William started by asking my daughter how the class was going and simply asked her what she wanted to work on. My daughter provided some problems, and off they went. I was impressed at his immediate understanding of whatever problem was put before him (strong math background). He lets my daughter work the problem and come to her own solutions and guides her back on the correct path if she makes a mistake. William has a mellow personality and allowed my daughter to set the pace of the sessions. Both sessions were beneficial and her test scores and most importantly confidence are improving. This has been my daughters first experience with a tutor and it has been positive for her. One final thing. At the end of the first session, we had a discussion on the option of dropping the class and continuing in regular algebra. My daughter and I were looking more at the early challenge of the class and the grade, while William suggested also consider picking a level that will keep it challenging, interesting and fun. She was holding a C in the class and he didn't think it was necessary to drop it so early on in the semester. My daughter does like a challenge and chose to stick with the Honors class. Her grade is improving, her confidence is increasing, and part of this is due to William's assessment of her abilities in the first session.
