I believe that every one of us has something of value to say. But sometimes, it's hard to turn our ideas into words and our words into a finished work. I want to help you work that story idea into a novel, compile those memories into a memoir, or put those passionate ideas into a cohesive work of nonfiction. You've already got something to say. I'm here to help you say it with skill and confidence.
I've been writing for thirteen years and an independent author for eight. I have published six works, two novels and four nonfiction Bible studies. Several of these are bestsellers in their Amazon categories. I've taught creative writing workshops, eight-week summer school programs, and in one-on-one mentoring.
Four of my six books are Bible studies for ages 12-30. I took Biblical study courses at Multnomah University and have six years of preaching and Biblical study experience. Compiling a Biblical study or a sermon is one of my many skillsets in the world of nonfiction.
Creating good works of fiction and nonfiction requires an understanding of story construction, comprehension, prose, and grammar. One of my focuses is helping my students learn from the greats, compile their ideas, and express them well.
With my background in writing and preaching, public speaking is one of my joys. I want to help students express themselves by learning the mechanics of delivery, humor, dynamics, and content.
