About Kevin

Bio

As a student, I was accepted into the STEM scholarship program at Kean University. Here I received my Bachelors in Science and Technology with a focus on Math content. After, I completed my Master's degree in Math instruction and curriculum in just one year while holding a GPA of 3.9.

As a teacher, I have been teaching at a local High School in New Jersey for the past 7 years. Here I have taught Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry as well as a college level dual enrollment Math course for NJIT...

As a student, I was accepted into the STEM scholarship program at Kean University. Here I received my Bachelors in Science and Technology with a focus on Math content. After, I completed my Master's degree in Math instruction and curriculum in just one year while holding a GPA of 3.9.

As a teacher, I have been teaching at a local High School in New Jersey for the past 7 years. Here I have taught Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry as well as a college level dual enrollment Math course for NJIT (where my students receive college credit upon completion). I also tutor small groups in all of these subjects as well as standardized tests such as the PSAT, Accuplacer, ASVAB, etc.

My educational background and teaching experiences have provided me with all the tools needed to teach a variety of topics related to Math and how to apply them to many types of problems. I pride myself on being able to simplify even the more complicated algebraic topics.

Knowledgeable Tutor

Kevin was great with my son. He went over what he doesn’t understand and explained how the steps of Algebra work. It’s tough going to school remotely as he isn’t getting toe help he needs. Kevin is helping us offset this. The tutoring program was great and he was very efficient with his time. We are scheduling with him again.
