Hello!! I am currently an M1 medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and a graduate of Haverford College, where I studied Biology. My academic training has strengthened my skills in analytical writing, structured communication, and close reading, which I now apply in tutoring students through high-stakes academic and admissions writing.
My tutoring experience began at Haverford College’s Writing Center, where I worked one-on-one with undergraduate students across disciplines. I supported students through brainstorming, outlining, and revising essays, with a focus on clarity, structure, and developing a strong, authentic voice. In addition, I have worked with high school students through private tutoring platforms and independent tutoring, primarily on college application essays including Common App personal statements, supplemental essays, and activity lists. These students were typically 15–18 years old, and I often worked with them over multiple sessions from early drafts to final revisions.
My approach is collaborative and student-centered, focusing on helping students identify meaningful experiences and translate them into clear, compelling narratives without losing authenticity. Having gone through the highly selective admissions process myself and now training in a rigorous academic environment at Penn, I also bring firsthand understanding of what top universities value in strong applications.
