Hello! I’m a writing tutor with 5+ years of experience, a current medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and a graduate of Haverford College, where I studied Biology. My academic training has strengthened my skills in analytical writing, structured communication, and close reading, which I bring to tutoring students in academic and admissions writing.

My tutoring journey began at Haverford College’s Writing Center, where I worked one-on-one with undergraduate students across disciplines. I supported students through brainstorming, outlining, and revising essays, with a focus on clarity, structure, and developing a strong, authentic voice. I have also worked with high school students through private tutoring platforms and independent tutoring, primarily on college application essays, including Common App personal statements, supplemental essays, and activity lists.

My approach is collaborative and student-centered, helping students identify meaningful experiences and translate them into clear, compelling narratives while preserving their authentic voice. Having navigated highly selective college and medical school admissions myself, I bring firsthand perspective and thoughtful guidance to each stage of the writing process.
