Hello, My name is Pari! I am currently a senior at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and am studying Mechanical Engineering. I have grown to realize that the classes that I enjoyed the most both in high school and college had a lot of interaction between students and the instructor. As your tutor, I plan on following this approach by making sure students understand what they are doing by TRULY learning the material instead of just memorizing it. I am also a firm believer in the idea that practice makes perfect. So I would recommend that students look over and solve some problems before each session so that I can help if there are any difficulties in solving a question.

I like tutoring material from Pre-Algebra topics all the way up to pre-calculus. I am also comfortable with teaching up to high school level Chemistry and Physics. Most recently, I have worked with a special needs student in elementary school to understand basic math topics. We covered topics in order to understand the basic fundamentals of math that will be needed all through life. I have also taken almost every math course that was offered at my high school from foundational topics all the way up to Calculus based courses. In college, I am also highly experienced in more advanced topics such as Differential Equations and Linear Algebra.
