My daughter is able to quickly learn and understand Pre-Algebra concepts from Veronica. We are very happy with her as our Math tutor.
Veronica took the student from failing to passing in a few months. She is very good working one on one and goes the extra mile for her students.
I had the great opportunity to have Veronica K. as my tutor. Our first session, we met at the library and she helped me with my college algebra. I was able to grasp the steps needed to successfully pass my homework assignments thanks to Veronica's assistance. With practice, I was able to successfully pass my tests and eventually pass my course. I needed Veronica's help once again for another class because I needed to brush up on my algebra skills. She took the time out of her busy schedule to meet me at my grandmother's house because the library was closed and helped me with my homework. My mother and grandmother even liked her dedication to meet me at a private location. I really appreciate her helping me and will not hesitate referring her to others.
Veronica is the best one-on-one tutor my daughter has encountered. She was very patient and thoroughly explained the algebraic process. I could tell that just by the first session my daughter was starting to understand the material more than ever. We would definitely recommend Veronica!
Ms. Veronica is absolutely wonderful, patient, and my son is showing so much progress and self confidence. We can always reach out to her if we have questions. I am very happy.
Veronica has worked wonders with our daughter in algebra 2. She's gone from a D to a B in a few months.
She is a wonderful teacher, very patient and knowledgeable. I would like to recommend her to everyone who needs help with math.
Veronica is very patient and thorough. She always answers all of my questions and is very honest. My son likes her teaching style and feels very comfortable with her. He is getting more out of his sessions with Veronica than in his actual class. Veronica is prompt and always ready to go. We spoke about giving my son homework assignments after every session and she agreed, to make sure he is getting the necessary practice.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have tutored many high school students the past 2 years in Algebra 2. I'm very familiar with the material and can build confidence in each student to be able to do the work independently.
I've tutored several students in Pre-Algebra and I was an intern at a middle school where I taught 6th and 7th graders.
