As a Gold Medalist in Structural Engineering and a passionate educator, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a strong foundation in mathematics to tutoring students for the Math sections of SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT tests.

I graduated with a MS in Civil Engineering (specializing in Structural Engineering) from Virginia Tech, where I consistently achieved top grades in all my complex math-related courses (with an average GPA of 3.8). I finished my B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with an average GPA of 3.9. Currently, I possess Professional Engineering (PE) license in Civil Engineering.

With over 2 years of SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT tutoring experience (in-class and one-on-one), I have successfully guided numerous students to achieve significant improvements in their test scores. My average SAT math student increases their score on average by 200 points in under 15 sessions, and my ACT math students typically see a 3-5 point increase on average in the same timeframe. I also have 1 year of experience teaching engineering as an assistant professor in India and 2 years of experience teaching engineering as a teaching assistant to a senior professor at Virginia Tech. Thus, I have experience teaching students with an age group between 15 years to 25 years.

My teaching approach is centered around personalized, results-driven strategies. I start by assessing each student's strengths and weaknesses to create a tailored learning plan. My methods include 1) Comprehensive Content Review, 2) Targeted Practice using customized practice sessions to master specific question types and develop efficient problem-solving techniques, 3) Test-Taking Strategies equipping students with proven strategies to manage time effectively, eliminate wrong answers, and approach complex problems confidently, and 4) Individualized Coaching offering personalized attention to address each student's unique needs and maximize their progress.
