My name is Bradley A.! I'm 32 years old and live in Framingham, MA. I have a wife, a 3.5 year old daughter, and a 10 month old son. I enjoy things like sports, hiking, reading, movies, and spending time with friends and family. Currently, I'm an 8th grade science teacher, and I have previous experience teaching public schools in 6th and 7th grade classrooms as well. I've worked with youth regularly ever science I started as a camp counselor during my undergraduate years in college. Since then, I have worked as a Teen Director at a YMCA and a Youth Minister at a Catholic Church (both in Reading, MA), before I transitioned into the teaching profession.

What I value about teaching is the opportunity to get to know students and help them identify their strengths, including the knowledge and skills they may or may not know they have. Often in a classroom with many students, as a teacher it's difficult to explore science topics in a way that allows each student to feel they grasp the material. As a tutor, I would look forward to working with students in a more focused way that allows them to guide their learning with their own interest and thought process.

I have experience as a player and coach in the sport of baseball. I played at the varsity level during my high school baseball career and even though I don't play competitively anymore, I try to stay in baseball shape by working on the skills needed to play the game. I have coached baseball and other youth sports at different ages, both in groups and individually.

I would be happy to get speak with anyone interested in working with me as a tutor! Even if you're not sure we'd be a good fit, feel free to contact me so we can get to know each other a bit and figure out if we'd work well! We can also schedule just one lesson to start go from there. Currently, I am accepting students for nighttime tutoring between 8 and 11pm Eastern Standard Time. I hope to hear from you soon!

Perfect Fit for my 8th grade Science Student

Bradley was extremely helpful in helping my son prepare for an exam. My son appreciated being able to relate about baseball (!) and also his supportive, organized approach. Bradley structures his sessions much like a classroom lesson which is perfect for my ADHD/EF challenged student. He provided me with extremely detailed notes about what was covered as well which was very helpful. Highly recommend!

Great Tutor

My son had two lessons with Bradley to assist him in preparing for a science test. It was reassuring to know that Bradley had already taught the same topics earlier in the year in his classroom. Bradley was well-prepared and had a great rapport with my son. Following the first session, my son praised Bradley as one of the best tutors he had worked with, complimenting his detailed explanations and thorough approach to the subject matter. Bradley made certain that my son grasped each topic by providing comprehensive explanations whenever my son had questions. Bradley also provided detailed notes on their work together and offered additional examples and notes to clarify more challenging concepts for my son. We are pleased with Bradley's tutoring style and approach and will use him again in the future.

Friendly, easy-going, and knowledgeable!

My son loved his baseball lesson with Brad and can't wait to have another. Brad prepared deeply beforehand and went above and beyond, scouting out the best fields in our neighborhood. When the weather took a turn for the worse, he offered to wait it out and then start up again after. Highly recommended.

Great and amazing tutor

Coach Bradley is amazing! He is passionate and his instruction is also well organized that my son who had never taken a baseball class before was also able to easily follow the class. He is friendly and patient as well. My son and I both liked his coaching style, and he looks forward to playing with the coach everyday!
